Hello and Welcome! My name is Daniel and I am serving as the Chair for the West Lake MUN 2023 conference's ECOSOC committee. I am currently in 9th grade at Chinese International School and this is my first year officially chairing. It’s my pleasure to take part in chairing for the conference and I hope to guide you delegates through fruitful debates. I am confident that the West Lake MUN conference will be memorable and rewarding for all participants. Let us seize this opportunity to make a positive impact and contribute to the global discourse on economic and social issues.
Hi, my name is Oliver Zhang. I am currently in 9th grade at Hangzhou International School and this is my year 5th in MUN. I been in 9 Model United Nations conferences and people who know me know I'm enthusiastic about history, politics and debating. I'm fully honored to take part in planning the WLMUN 2023 Fall Conference and I believe this will be extremely exciting for all of us! I intend to make the WLMUN Fall Conference a great learning experience for newcomers, but also a fun experience for more experienced delegates. I wish everyone a fantastic time during the conference.
