A warm hello and welcome to everyone, my name is Sera, and I’m a twelfth grader at Hangzhou International School. I am honored to be serving as one of the co-Secretary Generals in the 2023 West Lake MUN Conference. I have been taking part in Model UN conferences for over 5 years now, and I have attended over 15 national and international conferences in my time - I have to say that West Lake MUN is one of the most inviting conferences that I have attended. I feel so honored to be granted the opportunity to help create a conference where I hope many delegates will fall in love with MUN as I did, and I hope that I can create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to explore themselves and their passions through debate. I hope everyone has a truly educational and enlightening conference!

Hello! My name is Yvonne and I am serving as the Co-Deputy Secretary General for West Lake MUN 2023 conference. I am currently in 12th grade at Hangzhou International School and this is my first year in the Secretariat. It’s my pleasure to take part in planning the conference and I believe this will be extremely exciting for all of us! At the same time, I will do my best and contribute all efforts toward the secretariat and help organise WLMUN 2023. Hope to see everyone in November!

Welcome everybody, my name is Cindy, and I am a 12th grader at Hangzhou International School. Although this is my first year in the secretariat for model UN, I will do everything possible to make this conference a truly memorable one! As someone new, I have a lot of ideas for improvements to this conference, and I believe that along with my awesome secretariat team, we’ll be able to host an amazing conference. I am so grateful to get the opportunity to work together with such a great team. I am so glad that I have the opportunity to share this fantastic experience with all of you! Hello and welcome to West Lake MUN 2023! My name is Allison, and I am currently an eighth grader at Hangzhou International School. I am honored to serve as your secretariat for this conference, where my Model United Nations journey actually began. This is my third year participating in MUN, and my second year working in the secretariat team. Whether you are a newcomer or an experienced delegate who have attended several conferences, I hope you all enjoy WLMUN! I look forward to meeting you all soon and see you all in November!

Hello everyone! My name is Elaine Lu, and I am currently a sophomore at HIS. It is my pleasure to be serving as a part of the secretariat. I have been doing MUN for several years and have experience in all positions of admin, delegate, and chair. MUN have taught me many of things such as collaboration, public speaking skills, and receiving other perspectives on global issues. I hope that all of you would have a fabulous experience with this year’s West Lake MUN conference. I am looking forward to seeing all of you in person :)))

Hello everyone! My name is Naomi, and I am attending Grade 8 at Hangzhou International School. I have been in West Lake Secretariat for two years. I really enjoy conferences, and I hope that everyone else attending will find West Lake MUN similarly fun. I will try my best to help the West Lake MUN to be successful. Whether you are a newcomer to MUN or someone who has attended numerous conferences before, I hope that you will find the West Lake MUN as exciting as I do!

Hi everyone! I'm currently in Grade 8 at Hangzhou International School, and I feel very honored to be part of the West Lake MUN Secretariat. I have part of the MUN committee for three years, and this is my third time being part of the Secretariat. I hope everyone will have an amazing experience during this conference! We all hope that this conference will help new delegates step into an amazing MUN adventure to become experienced delegates. We look forward to seeing you all!

Hi, my name is Oliver Zhang. I am currently in 9th grade at Hangzhou International School and this is my year 5th in MUN. I been in 9 Model United Nations conferences and people who know me know I'm enthusiastic about history, politics and debating. I'm fully honored to take part in planning the WLMUN 2023 Fall Conference and I believe this will be extremely exciting for all of us! I intend to make the WLMUN Fall Conference a great learning experience for newcomers, but also a fun experience for more experienced delegates. I wish everyone a fantastic time during the conference.

Hello I’m Divay, I’m an 8th grader From Hangzhou International School. This is my 3rd year doing MUN and honestly, it has been a substantial journey for me and everyone else who has contributed to molding me into who I am today. Overall I have been a part of 8 MUN Conferences. MUN has played an important role in my development of as a student, and West Lake Mun was indeed my first. So to all the newcomers I welcome you to our 2023 Westlake MUN with open arms and wish you guys all a fruitful debate for the duration here, and I sincerely wish all of your resolutions pass with the highest of degrees.
