Hey delegates!
My name is Allison, and I am currently an eighth grader at Hangzhou International School. I have been involved in MUN since the beginning of middle school and have participated in 7 conferences since then, WLMUN 2023 being for 8th conference- for this year’s WLMUN, I am honored to serve as the President of the Environmental Commission.
MUN has been a part of my student life for 3 years now, and I have never regretted a single moment of it. Through this activity, I shared so many memories with other delegates, chairs, admin staff, and secretariats- and I have no doubt that this year’s WLMUN will be yet another opportunity to do so for me and all of you.
For this conference, I will be focusing on the issue of developing sustainable fishing practices to address overfishing in the Mediterranean. I encourage all delegates to engage in meaningful debates and create unique and creative resolutions that can make a real impact in developing sustainable practices to address overfishing. I look forward to working with each and every one of you and with you all the best conference experience!
